DIY Home Projects

Thinking of doing up your home in the summer holidays? We recommend that protective eyewear should be worn for any DIY activities where there is a risk of an object entering the eye.

These activities include hammering, chiselling, drilling, stripping paint, painting ceilings and laying insulation. Wear protective eyewear and clothing.

Check with your optometrist that the protective eyewear you use suits the application. Keep your goggles on – many accidents occur when people lift their goggles to take a closer look. Make sure you keep them on for the duration of the task.

Very important: Always make sure you discuss and make decisions about your eye care based upon a formal appointment with your optician.
